Description

cpkapty Store For sale here is a wind-up toy from just after WWII from US occupied Germany, and made by the German firm of Kohler. Marked, as shown in my photo, "Kohler Germany" and "Made in US Zone Germany". Tin litho body and legs, a felt 'comb' on his head, and a big green plastic 'tail'. He's missing his key to wind him up, so I've no idea if he's still working or not, but he's still the cutest rooster I've seen in quite a while!! Measures just over 3" tall by just over 4" long. Other than missing his key, he looks to be in great vintage shape.I'm listing a LOT of new things this week, so please check out my other listings, and browse my eBay store for more fun and fabulous things!!I've been in the vintage/collectible business for over 25 years.I'm on the list of advisors for both the second and third editions of Warman's Jewelry by Christie Romero, in addition I was a founding member for the online forum SilverForum and the Modern Silver website with Marbeth Schon. I was also a contributing author for the travelling exhibit and accompanying book, "William Spratling, and the Mexican Silver Renaissance" edited by Penny Morrill. I'm a gemologist, and I have jewelry design and jewelry-making experience as well.Shipping will be $7.50 for s/h/i via USPS priority mail, additional charges for international. I combine shipping to save money wherever possible, however, I can only combine shipping on purchases from the same day.California residents to pay 7.75% sales tax.
